We have reached a point of no return
There are no u-turns, no side streets
Just a long lonely way ahead
A dark highway and there is no return
We can keep going on
Travelling together yet alone
Humming the rhythm of this deafening silence
Looking at the darkened scenery of this eternal night
There is another way too
To stop and get down and find our dawns separately
Those mornings however, may be lonelier than the nights
We dread these sunrises without 'lonely togetherness'
We choose this nightly ride to the morning search
We stay put to enjoy the silent melodies
Cause sometimes, we know,
the rugged reality is better than the dreamy uncertainty
