The love she deserves

Freedom she seeks...freedom she deserves

As I see her standing on the staircase,
I wonder which tune in her heart she plays!
I want to go ahead and give her the love she deserves,
And show her my feelings are not reserved.

I am afraid to hug her, I am helpless I can’t,
My emotions are bound by foolish social chant.
She has the most beautiful eyes on earth,
She is my girl, my daughter by birth.

They demanded a son, but she came,
Cursed from the birth, now she is a pretty dame.
When their ‘Sun’ finally rose, she nurtured him like mother.
Her baby eyes lit with love, when I murmured, “He is your brother”.

Still they complain, still they deny;
To give her the rights, and question why.
But now I care for none today,
Things will change for good, and stay.

I promise to love her more than myself,
Love her the most till my last breath,
And give her all the love I preserved,
For she is the one who truly deserve.

When the Moon touched

Can't forget the day,
When the Moon touched me in its special way;
Its white rays wrapped me in its embrace,
Slowly its love replaced,
All my ethical ways…

I dive in the sea,
Lit by my Moon’s divinity;
I care for none today,
Not even the warned uncertainty.
The forecasted storm is at the horizon,
But also there I see, my Moon waiting for me.

I swim in a meditating trance to reach my destiny,
My tired body soon declared a mutiny
“Just a little more”- something in my heart pleads…
“Here I come, please wait for me”;
Behind each desecrating tide I see my Moon recede.

“Don’t leave me now; I left the land for you”
 I exert more, on Him my gaze glued.
“You have to go back”, He smiled and said,
Ahh! Such innocent cruelty, who won’t be misled!!

“I am the King of this darkened sky,
You were but what, just a mortal ally.
Your outrageous desires need to be tamed.”
With a kiss He took away my heart, and left me maimed….

The moon has once again adjusted itself outside my window today,
Its rays seep in my room and gently touch my face, in its own special way.
Now my heartless soul no more recognizes these emotions that alight;
But something in me, still lingers to the withdrawing curtains of moonlight.
